SINCLAIRVILLE — Route 60 in the town of Charlotte was closed for several hours Thursday after a semi tractor-trailer overturned.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the crash around 10:46 a.m. An investigation found that the driver of a northbound semi carrying recyclables lost control on a curve and entered a ditch. The semi then rolled onto its side.

Traffic control was provided by Cassadaga and Sinclairville firefighters, along with the Chautauqua County Fire Police Team.

No injuries were reported, while the driver, a Clarion, Pa., man, was issued traffic citations.
