CHERRY CREEK — A crash in Cherry Creek resulted in drunken driving charges for a Pennsylvania man Sunday.

Deputies responded around 6:20 p.m. to Route 83 in Cherry Creek for a report of a vehicle off the road. Upon arrival, officers found that 37-year-old John J. Patrick of Lansdale, Pa., was driving a vehicle that had gone off the road and became lodged in the ditch.

Patrick was administered field sobriety tests and later taken into custody. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and failure to keep right.

Patrick was released with appearance tickets to be in Cherry Creek Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
