UPDATE: No Immediate Cause In Fire That Destroys Warren Business

WARREN, Pa. — Fire marshals were called to the scene of a fire that destroyed a business in the city of Warren early Thursday. The fire at Warren Tire Center was reported shortly before 1 a.m.

Sam Pascuzzi, Warren fire chief, said no cause of the fire was available. He said fire marshals were called to help determine what sparked the blaze at the longtime business, located at 1701 Pennsylvania Ave. E.

Pascuzzi said one firefighter was treated and released from the hospital after suffering from heat exhaustion. No other injuries were reported.

Video of the blaze posted on social media showed large flames shooting from the building. Firefighters from Warren and surrounding departments were called to help battle the blaze.

Warren County HAZMAT crews placed a containment boom across the Allegheny River, near the Starbrick access area, due to melted tire product in the water.
