Sisson Presented Award For Excellence

The Stanley A. Weeks Braw Caddie Clan presented its 2017 Award for Excellence to Andrew Sisson during a reception at Moon Brook Country Club on June 6.

The Award for Excellence is presented annually to a male graduating Jamestown High School senior with high academic achievement, strong athletic participation and who is a well-rounded, hard working, and dedicated student.

During his time at Jamestown High School, Sisson was a member of the National Honor Society, captain of the baseball team and leader of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. As a member of the Red Raiders football team, Sisson was voted co-captain of the varsity team in 2016. He was also named to the Western New York Academic Football team.

During his free time, he volunteered as a basketball coach and referee, counselor at Jamestown Community College’s sports camps and provided support during the Future Red Raider Football Camp.

Sisson, the son of Kim and George Sisson, will continue his academic and football career at Buffalo State College, studying early childhood education.
