Vinne Massa Benefit To Take Place In Warren Saturday
WARREN — A benefit to support Vinnie Massa is taking place Saturday, May 20, at the Warren Eagles Club.
Massa is a 1990 Warren Area High School graduate and a 1995 graduate of Slippery Rock University. He is the father of two daughters, Caroline and Loralei, and recently got engaged to his girlfriend, Amy. Massa was recently diagnosed with sarcomatoid carcinoma, a rare and aggressive soft tissue cancer. As he continues to recover from major surgery, money raised by the fundraiser will help offset ongoing medical and traveling expenses as a large portion of Massa’s appointments have been and will continue to be out of town. The event will include giveaways, gift baskets, 50/50 giveaway, merchandise sales with the letter V, and food. The letter V has become symbolic to Vinnie and stands for victory.
In an effort to cover some of the operating expenses for this event, organizers are asking businesses and organizations to assist them by providing a monetary donation, gift certificate and/or merchandise. Donations can be sent to Melissa Casey Rich, 12 Grant St., Warren, PA 16365. For more information, call Melissa at 814-688-0564.
