Veterinarians Add New Staff Member

Dr. Patrick S. Farrell and Dr. Brooke L. Harkness are very pleased to announce a new addition to their staff.

Dr. Jaime Nelson has joined their staff and will be working in both Lakeside Veterinary Medicine at 976 Fairmount Ave. and also the Russell Veterinary Hospital at 1276 Route 957 in Russell, Pa. Nelson brings a great deal of additional expertise to these two veterinary hospitals as well as increased quality and service capacity.

Nelson’s hometown is Bemus Point where she attended Maple Grove Jr./Sr. High School. She did her undergraduate work at Morrisville State College where she received a degree in equine science and management. She then studied at Mercy College at Dobbs Ferry where she studied veterinary technology with a focus on pre-veterinary medicine. She now has her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Mississippi State University.

She has several hobbies, which she enjoys with her two dogs, Honey and Bunny, and two cats, Gray-C and Franklin. She enjoys mountain biking, hunting, fishing, horseback riding and reading. She has indicated she really likes the area and has chosen to return to this area because of that enjoyment.

Both Farrell and Harkness are pleased to have Nelson join their practice so they can provide the quality of service they strive to achieve. One other positive note is all three of these professionals are from Jamestown and Chautauqua County and all have returned to invest in the area as well as their careers.
