The Harmony Town Clerk's office will be closed Thursday. Normal hours will resume Tuesday, Sept. 26.
Outdoor Club To Hike In Scandia
The Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike six miles in Scandia on Sunday, Sept. 24. The hike will lead to a number of views of the Allegheny Reservoir. Participants will meet at the Hatch Run Conservation Area Parking Lot on Hatch Run Road at 1 p.m. For more information, call Jim Houghtling at 814-723-1654. Historical Society Meeting Today
The Chautauqua Township Historical Society will meet at the Sid Compton Room in the former Mayville High School building, 2 Academy St., Mayville today at 7 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
Rockin' The Lodge Set For Saturday
Friends of the Trillium Lodge will be hosting Rockin' The Lodge on Saturday from 1-7 p.m. at the Pine Valley VFW post 2522, Cherry Creek. The event will benefit the Trillium Lodge which was destroyed by a fire in May. The event features four bands, gift baskets, a Chinese auction, 50/50 tickets, food and prize items including a 50-inch TV. Dinner will feature spaghetti. Tickets are $10. Happy Days To Perform Saturday
The band Happy Days will perform on Saturday in the Herman Kent Legion Post.
Five-Hour Course Begins Monday
FREWSBURG -- A five-hour pre-licensing driving course will be held at Frewsburg High School on Sept. 25-26 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $25. Preregister by calling the guidance office at 569-7026 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. When calling, please make sure to have the student's learner's permit on hand.
Falconer Seniors To Hold Pot Luck
The Falconer Seniors will meet at noon on Monday, Sept. 25, for a pot luck luncheon. Sandee's Bakery will provide Italian sausage and cheesy potatoe salads and dessert. Anyone with questions is asked to call 484-0516.
