Barak James Cornell
Barak James Cornell (Skip), born Sept. 4, 1955, passed away at his home on July 29, 2021. Barak was preceded in death by his fa-ther, Edward Gerry Cornell, on Aug. 3, 2020.
Barak is survived by his mother, Beverly Anne Gomes; brother, Jon Glen Cornell; daughters, Sunny Lea Green, Jesse Lea Cornell-McLeer, Christine Lea Gordon, Jade Linne Bigelow; and a son, Thomas James Cornell. Barak had 10 grandchildren: Jaimie Clara Green, Jesse Michael Slade, Jacob Dylan Slade, Evan James Slade, Julian Elijah Ray Gordon, Brennan Thomas Gordon, Henry James McLeer, Aidan Francis McLeer, Micayla Isabella McRanor, and Jase Thomas Cornell.
Barak Cornell was a United States Marine in his youth and served as a Com-bat Engineer at Camp Lejeune N.C. During his life he worked as a carpenter, stone Mason, and enjoyed his hobby of making jewelry.
