FREWSBURG — Brayden Beckstrom hit a two-run home run and Drew Maggio went 4 for 4 with two doubles and a triple as Frewsburg rallied with 11 runs in the final two innings to beat Randolph 15-9 in the District 38 Area B Little League 10-12 All-Star Tournament on Friday evening.

Randolph led 9-4 after four innings before Frewsburg rallied.

In the fifth, Beckstrom singled and scored on Curtis Spielman’s RBI single; Maggio hit an RBI double; and Noah Greenman hit an RBI single.

In the sixth, Alex Rosenow reached on a dropped third strike and took second on an error. After a strikeout, Jonah Gruber was hit by a pitch before Jackson Butzer hit a two-run triple down the right field line to tie the game at 9-all.

Beckstrom then hit a two-run home run over the center field fence to give Frewsburg an 11-9 lead. After Spielman singled to right field, Maggio hit an RBI single to make it 12-9. Jackson Brady was then hit by a pitch and Maggio scored on a wild pitch before Jayden Wiggins walked. Brady and Wiggins later scored on an error to make it 15-9.

Maggio earned the win with 4 2/3 innings of two-hit ball, striking out seven and walking one.

For Randolph, Donavan Peterson went 3 for 3 with an inside-the-park home run, a triple, three RBIs and three runs scored. Madden Wojtowicz doubled twice and drove in three runs.

Southwestern earned the Area B No. 1 seed and will host Area A’s No. 2 seed on Monday in Frewsburg.

Fredonia earned the Area A No. 1 seed and will host Area B No. 2 seed Falconer on Monday in Mayville.

The championship game will take place Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Frewsburg.
