LAKEWOOD — Tryouts for the 2025 Gladiators 9U travel baseball team will be held Saturday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to noon at LaGrega Field on Linwood Avenue.

This player-pitch team participates in the Western New York Premier League, and will play a 10-game schedule with two or three local tournaments. Home games will be in Lakewood, and will not interfere with house league schedules. League play, on weekends, starts in April and May, and concludes with tournaments by Aug. 1, 2025.

Interested players, who should bring their own glove, bat and batting helmet to the tryout, cannot be 10 years old before April 30, 2025. There is no tryout fee, and it is open to players from any of the surrounding school districts.
