Hayes Scores 21 As Sherman Beats Forestville In Opener
FORESTVILLE — Brayden Hayes had 21 points and eight steals to lead Sherman to a season-opening 63-37 nonleague boys basketball victory over Forestville on Tuesday.
Kegan Ayers added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Wildcats (1-0), who led 26-11 at halftime before putting the game away with a 24-11 third quarter.
Brayden Smith led the Hornets (0-1) with 17 points and seven steals while Max Vigue had 11 points.
