The last day of the First Tee — Western New York was held Wednesday at C.C. Ring Elementary School in Jamestown. The program, which introduces golf and its inherent values, was held each Monday and Wednesday beginning in early July and included about 50 youngsters. In partnership with the Jamestown YMCA, First Tee — Western New York was staffed by Ray Maduro and volunteers, including Greg Leonard, president of the Rotary Club of Greater Jamestown AM. The organization provided and paid for the equipment the youngsters used. In photo above, volunteer Pat Traniello exchanges a high-five with one of the First Tee — Western New York participants.
