A friendly baseball game between the Jamestown Old Timers and Jamestown Police Department benefited the Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown youth program. Thursday’s game at Russell E. Diethrick Jr. Park in Jamestown was the second in as many years to help a local organization. A few members of the city’s police force utilized the Boys & Girls Club as youth, which made the charity game all the more special. Members of the police beat the Old Timers 3-0. All proceeds from the game went to the club.
