Tarp Skunks Fall At Batavia

BATAVIA — Tied 1-1 through five innings, Batavia pushed across four runs in the sixth inning and two more in the seventh to post a 7-2 victory over Jamestown in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League game on Friday at Dwyer Stadium.

Tyler Cannoe collected two hits and drove in five runs for the winners.

Brandon Lane had three hits for the Muckdogs (3-3), who managed just six as a team.

Kenny Misik took the loss for Jamestown, which used four pitchers, including Maple Grove graduate Tucker Fenton, who worked the ninth inning and struck out the side.

Jamestown will be back in action today when it entertains Utica at Diethrick Park. First pitch is at 6:30 p.m.
