CORRY, Pa. — Playing out of the White A Flight, James Hartzel shot a gross 76 to lead the Asquith Senior Golf Tour at North Hills Golf Course.

The other leading gross scores by flight were Scott Vogan, Paul Bell and Mark Digirolamo, 93 in the White B Flight; David Bray, 83 in the Gold A Flight; Mike Peyton, 90 in the Gold B Flight; Joe Palermo, 90 in the Gold C Flight; and Dave Nichols, 104 in the Gold D Flight.

Closest-to-the-pin winners were Art Asquith on No. 4; Paul Edson on No. 7; Norm Biegaj on No. 11; and Rich Barkstrom on No. 15.

Following are the top three finishers in each flight, using the Stableford scoring system: Bob Huber plus 3, Hartzel minus 3 and Jim White minus 1, White A Flight; Bell plus 1, Vogan minus 1 and Digirolamo minus 2, White B Flight; Sam Alessi plus 1, Juan Torres, minus 6; and Roger Milspaw minus 7, Gold A Flight; Peyton plus 1, Tom Szydlo minus 3 and Bruce Carlson minus 3 in Gold B Flight; Palermo plus 4, Larry Eidens zero and Lynn Butcher zero in Gold C Flight; and Nichols plus 3, Rich St. George zero and Tuck Underwood zero in Gold D Flight.
