Antonio “El Bravo” Torres, second from left, won in his professional heavyweight boxing debut, stopping via technical knockout, Wesley Melvin of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., in 1 minute, 49 seconds of the first round. Melvin came out fast and furious, rushing hard at Torres, but Torres weathered the storm and landed a hard right hand to the body to set up a left hook, a right hand and then a double left hook that sent Melvin to the canvas.
