Jackals Improve To 7-3 On Season

ERIE, Pa. — Jon Lee scored 26 points to lead four players in double figures as the Jamestown Jackals rolled to a 120-92 victory over the South Shore Monarchs in action from The Basketball League on Sunday at the Hagerty Family Events Center.

The win raised the Jackals’ record to 7-3 on the season, which is good for third place in the East Division.

Christian Nobles had 23 points and Bernard Edwards and Eric Mack both had 19 for the winners, who pulled away by outscoring the Monarchs 42-21 in the fourth quarter. The Jackals shot 54% (46 of 86) from the field and held a 60-36 rebounding advantage. Dane Miller had a strong game, too, grabbing 13 rebounds and dishing out 11 assists, and Daniel Mulamba added 10 boards.

Carlton Brundidge led South Shore with 26 points, Joe Jones had 19, Lester Jones added 18, Adarius Porter had 13 and Juanne Willis chipped in 12. The Monarchs shot only 40% from the field (36 of 92) and were outscored in the paint, 64-46.
