The Jamestown junior varsity football team remained unbeaten following a 20-6 victory over Grand Island at Strider Field.

Darius Freeney led a balanced ground attack with 111 yards and two touchdowns, while Isaiah Sanchez added 77 yards and a TD, and Radon Wright had 60 yards and a 2-point conversion run.

Defensively, the Red Raiders (2-0) were led by Wright and Sean O’Brien, who each had eight tackles. Teammate Bradley Bennett was credited with five tackles, including three for loss.
