Dunkirk Girls, Fredonia Boys Stay On Top Of Division 1
Dunkirk’s girls remained undefeated with a 4-0 sweep of Fredonia in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 high school bowling Friday at Lucky Lanes.
Rachel Glowniak rolled a 176-255-247-678 to lead the Marauders (24-0) to a line score of 973-917-897-2,787. Tayler Skelly had a 192-222-573 and Olivia Corbett a 223-183-571 while Makayla Pasierb added a 215 game for Dunkirk.
Gillian Reed led the Hillbillies (9-11) with a 180-500 while Savannah Salim had a career-high 209 en route to a 495. Emma Patterson added a 199 game and Jaelyn Davis a 180 game for Fredonia, which finished with a 810-800-759-2,369.
Rocke Swartz rolled a 200-247-162-611 to lead the Fredonia boys to a 3-1 defeat of Dunkirk.
Sam Kawski had a 227-182-198-607 while Zack Kawski had a 210 game and Bryson Kolassa had a 208 game for the Hillbillies (25-3), who rolled a line score of 954-957-899-2,810.
Robert Kozlowski’s 269-240-184-693 led the Marauders (16-12) to a 996-896-860-2,752. Jaxson Pencek chipped in a 249-199-222-666 and Matthew Woloszyn had a 206 game.
FALCONER SWEEPS TROJANS
Damen Vincent rolled a 222-199-574 to lead Falconer to a Division 1 boys sweep of Southwestern at Jamestown Bowling Company.
Nic Houston added games of 184 and 211 while James Patterson had a 199 game for the Golden Falcons (12-16), who finished with a line score of 779-674-892-2,345.
Jaden Kinnear’s 134 game led the Trojans (2-22) to a 464-464-410-1,338.
Amelia Sprague rolled a 190-504 and Kaitlyn Swan had a 172-458 as the Falconer girls also earned a 4-0 sweep.
The Golden Falcons (19-5) finished with a line score of 794-756-724-2,274 thanks to high games from Rachel Himes (161, 153), Rachael Wallace (159, 155) and Lucinda Patterson (151).
Natalie Milner’s 152-425 led the Trojans to a 487-467-495-1,449.
