WESTFIELD — Cole Holland scored in the 64th minute to send Westfield/Brocton to a 2-1 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division victory over Frewsburg on Monday evening.

Holland’s goal from Carson Swanson locked up a postseason berth for the Wolverines (4-3-0, 4-3-0), who are assured of at least a .500 record with just one game remaining at Maple Grove on Wednesday.

The Bears (3-7-0, 1-7-0) opened the scoring midway through the first half as Zack Carr sent a corner kick into the box. Garrett Brink got a foot on the ball before Lucas Eckman found the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.

Darien Swanson tied the game in the 39th minute on a penalty kick after Frewsburg was called for a handball inside the 18-yard box.

The score remained 1-1 until Swanson scored about five minutes before the game was called due to darkness.

Brad Babcock made seven saves for Westfield/Brocton and Connor Murray made nine saves for the Bears.
