ALLEGANY — Tristan Spillane and Drew Kelemen scored in the second half as Maple Grove blanked Allegany-Limestone, 2-0, in nonleague boys soccer Saturday.

Spillane scored unassisted in the 44th minute and Kelemen tallied from Nick Golando in the 56th minute.

Andrew Auer made three saves in net for the shutout.

FREDONIA PLAYS TO DRAW FRIDAY

FREDONIA — Allegany-Limestone (8-1-1, 6-0-1) and Fredonia (5-1-1, 5-1-1) battled to a 1-1 tie on Friday in a game that was halted due to weather in the 62nd minute.

The Gators tallied in the sixth minute, while Fredonia was able to get on the board in the 59th minute when Jack Carlson converted on passes by Juan Matias and Dawson Bird.

Trevor Persch made five saves for Fredonia, which will meet Maple Grove on Monday.

CARR LEADS BEARS

FREWSBURG — Zack Carr scored twice as Frewsburg rallied past Pine Valley/Gowanda for a 4-3 win in the Central Division on Friday night.

Brayden Lobb scored from Garrett Brink, Trent Bjork scored on a direct kick, Carr tallied from Joel Reinagel and Carr scored from Jacob Constantino for the Bears.

Connor Murray made four saves in net for Frewsburg (3-4-0, 1-4-0).

Owen Ward made seven saves for Pine Valley/Gowanda (0-6-0, 0-4-0).
