NorthLake Family Recreation Center in Westfield, inaugurated its brand new “Beach Football” court this past weekend with a 14U Girls tournament on Saturday and a 16/18U Girls tournament on Sunday. Saturday’s contest included teams from FC Concord, CLCS, Northwest FC and Allegany with Allegany besting Northwest Thunder in the finals to take the T-shirts. Sunday saw teams from CLCS, Northwest FC, and Randolph with Northwest Wave and Tornado finishing first and second. Liza Giardini and Bella Prince. Northwest Tornado and Wave included Makartnee Mortimer (Westfield), Raven Warren (Jasper-Troupsburg), Courtney Martin and Kasie Craig (Maple Grove), Jayme McBride (Alexander), Carley Wilson (Brocton), Katelyn Hagstrom (Falconer), Heather Johnston (Brocton), and Angel Busch and Jacqulyn Ward (Westfield). Northwest Tornado was coached by Bruno DelSorbo, while Roy Newman and Dale White coached Northwest Wave.
