Randolph’s Pence Scores Career-High 23

ELLICOTTVILLE — Freshman Kyra Pence had 13 of her career-high 23 points in the third quarter as Randolph topped Ellicottville, 74-51, in nonleague girls basketball Monday.

Sydney Hvizdzak led the Cardinals (7-8, 2-3 CCAA D1 East) with 32 points to go along with six rebounds, four steals and three assists while Payton Morrison had 15 points. Pence added five assists, four rebounds and three steals, and Allison Ames had 14 rebounds and three steals in the win.

Evelyn Nuzzo led the Eagles (6-8, 4-0 CCAA D2 East) with 15 points, including four 3-pointers; Camryn Earley had 13 points; Makenna Smith scored 11 points; Allison Rowland grabbed seven rebounds; and Emilee Ruiz pulled down six rebounds.
