Lundmark Records Double-Double

SALAMANCA — Grace Lundmark had 21 points and seven steals to lead Falconer past Salamanca, 60-27, in nonleague girls basketball action Wednesday.

Sarah Disbro added 13 points and six assists while Courtnee Peterson and Rachel Harper each grabbed six rebounds for the Golden Falcons (11-2, 3-1 CCAA D1 East), who led by 10 at halftime and by 16 after three quarters before a 22-5 final eight minutes.

Nizhoni Kennedy led the Warriors (3-9, 3-1 CCAA D2 East) with 11 points and Kylee Dowdy had nine rebounds.

DUNKIRK — Nadara Odell had 27 points and Kymi Nance added 18 points as Dunkirk defeated Niagara-Wheatfield, 82-53, in a nonleague matchup.

The Marauders got off to a hot start, outscoring the Falcons 22-9 in the first quarter to set the tone.

Jessica Beehler had 15 assists and 10 rebounds while Amari Carter also had 10 rebounds in the win.

Jenna Bailey led the way for Niagara-Wheatfield with 18 points while Maddi Fike added 10.

SOUTH DAYTON — Junior Mikayla Gabalski-Jones scored a career-high 29 points, including 12 in the first quarter, as Frewsburg beat Pine Valley, 66-35, in nonleague play Tuesday.

Gabalski-Jones also had eight steals; Lizzie Schrecengost grabbed seven rebounds; and Peyton Yost and Alex Hultberg each had three assists for the Bears (9-4, 1-2 CCAA D2 West).

Lyric Westlund led the Panthers (1-12, 1-2) with 14 points.
