Jamestown Wins With Two 700s

Brandon Michael smashed a 278-220-248-746 and Kyle Christensen fired a 215-232-280-727 to lead Jamestown to a 4-0 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 boys sweep over Falconer on Friday at Jamestown Bowling Company.

The Red Raiders (27-5) also received contributions from Colton Cappalino, who contributed a 227 game, Riley Piazza, who added a 190 game and Zach Ryberg, who rolled a 190 game to give the team a 1,031-1,001-1,159-3,191.

Matthew Gullotti led the way for the Golden Falcons (21-19), firing a 202-233-214-649 and Damen Vincent rolled a 202 game to lead the team to an 827-862-833-2,522.

Hannah Cross led Falconer with a 501 series to edge Jamestown, 3-1.

Emily Ryberg finished with a 192-191-214-597 for the Red Raiders (15-13), who finished with a 703-664-715-2,082 linescore.

The Golden Falcons (14-18) finished with a 731-687-667-2,085.

CARDINALS KNOCK OFF SILVER CREEK

Noah Barber fired a 217-196-243-656 and Kameron Finch rolled a 234-203-616 as Randolph handed Silver Creek its first three losses of the year with a 3-1 Division 2 boys victory at Jamestown Bowling Company.

Alex Finch rolled 194-201-551 and Wyatt Adams rolled a 216-571 as the Cardinals (29-7) finished with a 977-863-981-2,821 linescore.

Daniel Patterson rolled a 268-236-191-695 and Zach Bartlette-Dye rolled a 211-222-617 to give the Black Knights (33-3) a 918-906-980-2,804 linescore. Brandon Erik also contributed a 213-536 while Nate Bartlett-Dye added a 206.

Lenaya Olsen fired a 211-530 for Silver Creek in a 2-2 split with Randolph in the girls match.

The Black Knights (21-11) finished with a 560-576-559-1,695 linescore and the Cardinals (21-11) finished with a 551-608-558-1,717 linescore.

NELSON LEADS TROJANS

Alex Nelson fired a 237-192-183-612 to lead Southwestern in its 4-0 Division 1 sweep over Chautauqua Lake at Jamestown Bowling Company.

Hans Vanderzyden added a 190 for the Trojans (13-23), who finished with a 728-712-828-2,268.

The Thunderbirds (0-36) finished with a 548-501-467-1,516.
