CATTARAUGUS — Bella Ruiz scored 15 points and Mckenzie Haskins added 14 as Cassadaga Valley beat Cattaraugus-Little Valley 64-37 in nonleague action.

Meghan LeBaron and Kaylee Pattyson each added 11 points for the Cougars (4-2), who led 20-8 after the first quarter and 39-16 at halftime. Alex Jones and Madeline Jones each scored 10 points while Emma Rupp grabbed nine rebounds for the Timberwolves (2-3).

PACE RED DRAGONS

Bre Hill scored 19 points and Riley Caskey added 17 points as Maple Grove defeated Ellicottville 63-29 in nonleague action on Dutch Hollow Road.

The Red Dragons finished the first quarter with a 16-2 lead and never looked back, holding the Eagles to just 12 field goals over the course of the game. Maple Grove’s lead was up to 35-9 by halftime.

Anna Tranum had 10 assists, five rebounds and four steals while Caskey grabbed nine rebounds and dished out four assists. Tessa Mozzi added 9 points, all on 3-pointers, for the Red Dragons.

Camryn Earley led the Eagles with 10 points, including two 3-pointers.
