Steward, Talbot, Steinbroner Take CCAA East Top Honors
Randolph senior Kaleb Steward was voted Player of the Year as Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association East Division boys soccer coaches released their all-star teams recently.
Allegany-Limestone senior Bryant Talbot was voted Offensive Most Valuable Player while Ellicottville junior Noah Steinbroner was voted Defensive Most Valuable Player.
Allegany-Limestone’s Jon Luce was named Coach of the Year, Ryan Arvin was named Referee of the Year and Portville received the Team Sportsmanship Award with junior Panther Trey Williams the Individual Sportsmanship Award winner.
Joining Steward on the First Team from Randolph were senior Marcus Evans, senior Ty Rosengren, senior Matt Schultz and junior Bryson Rozler.
Talbot was joined on the First Team by Gators teammates Michael Wolfgang, a senior, Hudson Kwiatkowski, a sophomore, and Jack Conroy, a freshman.
Ellicottville senior Jack Snyder and junior Bryce Butler joined Steinbroner while Salamanca/Cattaraugus-Little Valley junior Hunter Yaworsky was also named to the First Team.
Members of the Second Team included: Randolph junior Ethan Shields; Allegany-Limestone junior Noah Paterniti, sophomore Tyler Curran, senior Daniel Graham, sophomore Logan Andrus and sophomore Maddox DeLong; Portville freshman Michael Cole, junior Alex Wenke, Williams and senior Tyler Robinson; Ellicottville senior Simon Lin and junior Caleb Jennings; and Salamanca/Cattaraugus-Little Valley senior Darec Funke and sophomore Lucas Barber.
