The 20th annual Chautauqua County Senior All-Star Soccer Games were played Sunday afternoon at Strider Field in Jamestown. Above are the Most Valuable Players from each game. In photo at left are boys MVPs Marcus Kautzman of Southwestern, representing the Blue team, and Harrison Monfort of Jamestown, representing the White team. In photo at right, Galena Duba-Weaver, an attorney with Fessenden Laumer & DeAngelo, which sponsors the Sports4Kids awards, is flanked by girls MVPs Isabella Penhollow of Falconer, left, representing the Blue team, and Jaclyn Bush of Jamestown, representing the White team. In the photos below, from the left, Addison Pope of Southwestern celebrates his goal; Nate Culbreth of Westfield/Brocton makes a play on the ball; Rachel Annis of Frewsburg makes a goal kick; and Hanna Johnson of Southwestern clears a ball away from in front of the net. Both the boys and girls games finished in a 2-2 tie. In the girls game, Bush scored both goals for the White team, and Chloe Barrett of Silver Creek and Penhollow tallied the goals for the Blue team. In the boys game, Kevin Ruhlman and Caleb Foley of Maple Grove both scored a goal for the White team, while Pope of Southwestern and Ty Rosengren of Randolph found the back of the net for the Blue team.
