Rebels Suffer Another Loss At New Jersey On Saturday

MIDDLETOWN, N.J. — Michael Outzen’s goal at the 14:08 mark of the third period proved to be the game winner, sending New Jersey to a 2-1 victory over Jamestown in a North American Hockey League game Saturday.

The Titans are now 12-2-0 on the season, while the Rebels fall to 3-11-0-2.

Josef Glamos opened the scoring for the East Division leaders, finding the back of the net on the power play at the 10:05 mark of the second period, but Jamestown tied it when Tyler German scored with 28 seconds remaining.

The score remained 1-1 until Outzen’s goal in the final period.

Jon Howe stopped 30 shots for the Rebels, while Arseni Sergeev had 32 saves for the Titans, who were two of three on the power play. Jamestown did not score a goal on six power-play opportunities.
