GIRLS VOLLEYBALL Maddie DuBois Southwestern Maddie DuBois had 10 kills, seven digs and seven service points as Southwestern beat Maple Grove 25-22, 25-21, 20-25, 29-27 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division play Thursday. On Tuesday, DuBois had seven kills and seven points in a 25-12, 25-20, 16-25, 25-7 league victory over Sherman.
BOYS SOCCER Simon Pirello Southwestern Simon Pirello scored two goals and had an assist in the Trojans’ Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association West Division win over Fredonia on Monday and had one goal and one assist in another league victory over Olean on Wednesday.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY Eddie Scroxton Southwestern Eddie Scroxton won a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association meet at Olean on Tuesday, registering a time of 17:17 and finished 19th at the East Aurora Invitational on Saturday with a time of 16:26.12.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY Jericha Petrella Dunkirk Jericha Petrella won a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association meet at Olean on Tuesday with a time of 21:00 and placed 12th at the East Aurora Invitational on Saturday.
GIRLS SOCCER Sheala Barresi Westfield/Brocton Sheala Barresi scored a pair of overtime goals as Westfield/Brocton knocked off North Collins 2-0 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division play Tuesday. On Thursday, Barresi had an assist in the Wolverines’ 2-0 league win over Chautauqua Lake.
GIRLS TENNIS Nicole Youngberg Falconer Nicole Youngberg posted three straight-set victories — losing just four games in those contests — at second singles. Her wins came against Southwestern (6-0, 6-1) on Monday, Jamestown (6-0, 6-0) on Tuesday and Frewsburg (6-1, 6-2) on Thursday.
