Morrison Falls In Semifinals At Junior Match Play Event
OLEAN–Randolph’s Branson Morrison finished as a semifinalist in Saturday’s 12th annual betty Bergreen Junior Match Play Championship at Bartlett Country Club.
Connor Alfieri was a 6 and 4 winner over Morrison during morning play before falling to champion Michael Davis, who was one up in 19 holes.
Alfieri, of Smethport Country Club, pitched in for a birdie 3 on the opening hole of the day
On Friday Morrison bested Caden Salvaggio of Jamestown, finishing one up after 18 holes, before moving past Thomas Anderson with a 3 and 2 victory.
