Ellicottville Memorial Library Pro-Am Ends In Four-Way Tie

ELLICOTTVILLE — There was a four-way tie for first place at the Ellicottville Memorial Library Pro-Am held Monday at Holiday Valley Resort.

The Kahkwa Club’s Michael O’Connor, PGA life member Kirk Stauffer, Wild Wood Country Club’s Mike Sweazy and Niagara Frontier CC’s Matthew Clark all tied with 2-over 72s.

Host pro Kyle Benish, River Oaks GC’s Bobby Hogan and Bartlett CC’s Dwayne Randall all tied for second with 4-over 74s.

Pinehurst GC’s Ryan Swanson and Elkdale CC’s Jack Widger tied for eighth with 5-over 75s.

Holiday Valley’s Steven Carney and Lakewood Golf Center’s Pat Damore were tied for 10th at 6-over 76. Conewango Valley CC’s John Rook tied for 16th at 8-over 78.

Niagara Frontier CC’s Matthew Clark, Pete Lovering, Aaron Rotella and Scott Adams won the Pro-Am two best balls of four with a 19-under 121.

Randall, Nick Lyons, Greg Ginnons and Tom Smith were third with a 12-under 128 while Swanson, Greg Auge, John Mowery and Tom Whistler tied for fourth with an 11-under 129.

Benish, Kait Ames, Tom Ames and Kathi Ames were tied for ninth at 6-under as were Widger, Pete Weishan, Mike Timkey and Woody Klein.

Damore, Bill Andrews, Tyler Martin and Arthur Stewart were 15th at 2-under.

Rook, Ryan Nord, Bonnie Koschir and Niki Klein were 20th at 9-over.
