Boys & Girls Club Holding Swim Lesson Sign-Ups

The Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown is currently registering participants for infant-toddler swim classes. Classes are for children 6 months through 4 years of age.

The next eight-week session begins on Monday, Sept. 9 and will run Mondays through Nov. 4. There will be no classes on Oct. 14 for the Columbus Day holiday.

The cost for the infant-toddler swim class is $30/child. The program is designed for children under 5 and they must have an adult swim with them. Sessions are 30 minutes long. Classes are held at 9:15 a.m., 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

New for this year will be special advanced class for ages 4-5 on Wednesdays 5:30-6 p.m. One parent must be in the water for these sessions. This is a transitional class to allow advanced toddler swimmers to move to regular swim lessons. The cost is $30 per session.

The four-week sports league for toddlers soccer, ages 3-4, begins on Saturday, Sept. 28. Classes are Saturday mornings from 9:30-10 a.m. through Oct. 19. The cost is $20 per session. A $5 one-time per year registration fee is required and a T-shirt will be provided.
