Lions Club defeated Jock Shop, 5-2.

Winning pitcher Carter Rizzuto struck out nine batters in three innings and gave up just one hit before being relieved by Ryan Engquist, who also fanned nine and surrendered two hits for the save.

Engquist helped his own cause with a pair of hits, and teammate Giovanny Torres played well defensively.

For Jock Shop, Nazayah Figueredo had a double, and Chris Melquist and Hector Montanez both had a single.

Cusimano’s Carstar knocked off Phone Zone, 15-8, in five innings.

Ryan Rivera and Nolan Miller led the way with four hits apiece for the winners.

Xavier Cruz collected four hits and Andrew Cama had a strong defensive game for Phone Zone.

Connor Johnson and Ethan Ecklof stood out on offense and defense respectively for Ecklof’s Bakery.

Olivia Anderson and Kyler Sanchez recorded the same honors for Northwest Savings Bank.
