Auer, Adams Lead Field At Bemus Point 5K
BEMUS POINT — Brooke Adams was the overall female winner and Peter Auer was the overall men’s winner at the Bemus Point 5K run last weekend.
Auer finished in 18:42.46 and Adams was just behind at 19:03.45.
Madison Hill was the top finisher in the girls 14-and-under category with a time of 33:10.99 while Emma Collins won the girls 15-19 age group with a time of 36:43.21.
Julia Marsh was the top finisher in the women’s 20-29 category with a time of 22:05.63 and Holly Griffith won the women’s 30-39 age group with a clocking of 23:21.90. In the women’s 40-49 group, Tracy Kelly finished first in 21:58.73; Nareen See took first in the women’s 50-59 age group with a time of 25:46.93 and Stacey Curry was the top women’s 60-69 finisher at 35:35.67. Mac MacKenzie claimed the women’s 70-79 age group in 37:31.54.
Granison Hill finished first in the boys 14-and-under category with a time of 18:59.40 while Alex Ferry claimed the boys 15-19 age group in 27:07.93.
Christopher Walsh was the top 20-29 male finisher with a clocking of 19:05.23 while Matthew Langworthy finished in 19:17.07 to lead the men’s 30-39 field. Shawn Hollander led the men’s 40-49 age group with a time of 22:36.19 and John Gustafson was the top finisher in the men’s 50-59 age group with a time of 20:31.33. The 60-69 men’s category was won by Kerry McDermott in 22:25.89.
