JAMESTOWN CAL RIPKEN

ROOKIES DIVISION

In Monday’s game between Phone Zone and the YMCA, Phone Zone defeated the YMCA 8-3.

Xavier Cruz had three hits, including a double that went all the way to the fence, and Cleveland Grissom hustled all over the field and made some great plays in the field for Phone Zone.

For the YMCA, Drew Davis was both the offensive and defensive player of the game.

TEE-BALL

Ecklof Bakery battled Henry James, with Connor Johnson leading the offense and Jeremiah Cromartie having a big day on defense for Ecklof.

Nick Tuttle shined on offense and Margaret Drake made the big plays on defense for Henry James.

FALCONER LITTLE LEAGUE

MAJORS DIVISION

Precision Engine and Machine defeated Bloomquist Landscaping, 15-10.

Alex Nutt, Zavyer Mayr (double) and Branston Lindquist all had two hits and drove in three runs for the winners. Teammate Jesse Davis added a double.

Gabe Delahoy had a double for Bloomquist Landscaping.

SOUTHERN TIER GIRLS

BABE RUTH SOFTBALL

Panama’s Neil’s Propane recorded the win against Southwestern’s Beaver Boys Construction.

Offensive standouts for Panama were Kiera Loberg with a double and Jessica Lyon with four hits.

Southwestern’s offensive standouts were Emma Lewis with three hits and Juliet Genareo with two doubles.

The defensive standouts for Panama were Renee Raynor and Addy Sturges while for Southwestern it was Lily Robinson and Charlotte Beaver.

16-18 BABE RUTH

BASEBALL

The Southern Tier Regulators built up a 4-1 lead before ending in a 4-4 tie with Baseball U-NY Black in a game called after eight innings due to a time limit.

Lucas Porpiglia went 2 for 4, including a double, with two runs scored and an RBI while Trey Swartz had a double and a triple. Kyler Majka also doubled for Southern Tier.

Majka threw 6 1/3 innings, allowing four runs on six hits and three walks while striking out eight. Adam Goot threw 1ª innings, allowing four hits and a walk while striking out two.

Swartz doubled and scored on Porpiglia’s RBI double before Anthony Gullo’s RBI groundout in the second inning. In the fourth, Bryce Jackson and Porpiglia both singled and scored on errors.
