Rebels Suffer 1-0 Loss To New Jersey

MIDDLETOWN, N.J. — A second-period goal was all New Jersey needed to edge Jamestown in a North American Hockey League game Saturday night.

Eric Manoukian found the back of the net at the 5:35 mark, assisted by Kyle Jeffers and Zach Nazzarett, and that was all goalie Brandon Perrone needed as he turned away 30 Rebels’ shots to earn the shutout victory.

Noah West made 18 saves for Jamestown, which had a 13-2 shot advantage after one period, but couldn’t get the puck past Perrone.

The loss dropped the Rebels’ record to 33-15-5-3. New Jersey improved to 28-25-3-0.
