Cameron Barmore had a career-high 38 points, 17 rebounds, four blocked shots, two assists and two steals as Panama beat Cassadaga Valley, 77-63, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 West action Thursday. In a 69-38 nonleague win over Portville on Tuesday, Barmore had 23 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a blocked shot.

Robbie Penhollow led Falconer/Cassadaga Valley to the semifinals at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Dual Meet Championships on Saturday at SRC Arena on the campus of Onondaga Community College. Penhollow pinned Riley Brewer of Central Valley in the semifinals. In the first round, Penhollow pinned Saranac’s Emilio Lugo in 16 seconds. In the second round, Penhollow earned a 13-3 major decision over Warrensburg’s Chris Wilson.

Kyle Dean won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.61 at the Erie County Interscholastic Conference Class AA Swimming & Diving Championships this past weekend at Sweet Home High School. Dean was also a member of the Red Raiders’ winning 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:32.95), second-place 400-yard freestyle relay team (3:26.58) and third-place 200-yard medley relay team (1:44.95).
