Jayhawks Play To 0-0 Tie In Erie

ERIE, Pa. — Jamestown Community College played the Gannon University jayvees in a non-league men’s soccer friendly match Friday, which ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

Jakob Moore would stop two shots in the first half for the Jayhawks while Nick Mole made seven saves in the closing 45 minutes.

“He had an excellent performance,” head coach Pat Anderson said of Mole. “He did really well. It was a good outing for him. We did threaten several times, we had a penalty kick that their keeper managed to save in the first half.’

Nimish Gounder would be stymied on his penalty chance for the Jayhawks, who will host Onondaga Community College on Sunday at 3 p.m.
