Amarillo Puts Up Nine Goals On Rebels At Blaine Showcase

BLAINE, Minn. — The Jamestown Rebels (1-2) suffered a 9-0 loss to the Amarillo Bulls on Friday at the North American Hockey League showcase.

Amarillo finished the night 3 for 6 on the power play as Brenden Datema, Alex Peterson and Jason Brancheau each lit the lamp with the man-advantage.

The Bulls scored three goals in the first, four in the second and two in the third while peppering Jamestown with 45 shots.

Ryan Keane made it into the second period, stopping 13 shots for Jamestown, before giving way to Jacob Lefton who finished with 23 saves.

Jason Grande picked up the win, stopping all 22 shots faced.

Jamestown returns to the ice today to face the Shreveport Mudbugs at 9:30 a.m.
