Conewango Classic Set For Saturday In Frewsburg

The second annual Conewango Classic, hosted by the Frewsburg Faculty Association, will take place Saturday. At 12:30 p.m., Silver Creek will take on Randolph at Frewsburg High School while at the same time, Frewsburg will take on Portville at the Robert H. Jackson Sports Complex. The winners of the opening games will play each other at the RHJ complex at 3 p.m. while the losers will play in a consolation game at the high school at the same time. The Frewsburg Baseball Boosters will also be hosting a pig roast at the elementary school during the tournament. The cookout will begin at noon and last until it is gone. Meals cost $10 apiece. The boosters will also be drawing the winners of their 2018 fundraiser during the championship game of the tournament. Tickets are $25 apiece with $1,000 in cash prizes, a smart TV and $250 in lottery tickets going to the winners. Tickets are available from any of the Frewsburg baseball players.
