C-LV Community Holding Golf Tourney Today

RANDOLPH – The Timberwolves Community Alliance, along with the Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School All-Sports Boosters, are holding their annual golf tournament today at Cardinal Hills Golf Course.

This tournament has been organized to assist the students at Cattaraugus-Little Valley with various monetary situations that come up during the year. Student and/or organizations are asked to submit application for funding.

Proceeds from the event have helped sponsor students attend Camp New Horizons; provide a scholarship at graduation; and sponsor a program called “Caught in the Act,” which recognizes individuals who do random acts of kindness.

Also, the Timberwolves Community Alliance sponsors adult education courses for the community and recognizes and thanks military veterans with a special program around Veterans Day.

In addition to the CLVCS All-Sports Boosters purchasing new uniforms for all of its modified sports teams, plans are in place to begin replacing junior varsity uniforms next. The funds are raised through efforts such as the golf tournament, which supports these various endeavors.
