To Meet Friday
Independent Railroaders will meet in the First Lutheran Church on Friday, 120 Chandler St., Jamestown. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program at 7 p.m. Bob Hartle, of Clarion, Pa., will speak on operating with car cards, the Pin System, switch lists and other operating systems. Spaghetti Dinner Set For Sunday
A spaghetti dinner benefit for Laura Warner will be held on Sunday in the Lakewood American Legion, 174 Chautauqua Ave., Lakewood, from 1-6 p.m. Warner and her family are waging a tough battle against stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes and brain. The cost is a donation of $8 per person. A cash bar will be available. Music will be performed by Amanda Barton, Bro's Agenda, Derek Davis and the Ken Hardley Band. To Ski Sunday
On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ski the trails at Oil Creek State Park. Participants will meet at the park warming hut at 1 p.m. The trails at Oil Creek are now being professionally groomed and there is a $5 fee for skiers using these trails. To Join Choir
Singers from area churches are invited to participate in a communitywide choir as part of a Maundy Thursday Service to be held at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts in Jamestown on Thursday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. Practices will be held at Fluvanna Community Church on Sunday and Sunday, March 30 at 4 p.m., and Thursday, March 13 and Thursday, April 10 at 7 p.m. For more information contact Pastor Dayle Keefer at 484-0553.
WCA Auxiliary To Host Fudge Sale
The WCA Hospital Auxiliary will sponsor "Fudgie Wudgie: The Gourmet Chocolate & Fudge Road Show Sale" today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Main Lobby of WCA Hospital, located at 207 Foote Ave., Jamestown. Proceeds from the gourmet sale will benefit WCA Hospital. Cash, checks and most credit cards accepted. Checks, cash, and most credit cards are accepted. Attendees are welcome to shop at the WCA Hospital Gift Shop which is open Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All proceeds from gift shop sales also benefit WCA Hospital. Miller To Perform In Concert Sunday
STOCKTON - George Miller of Buffalo, a soloist, will perform in concert on Sunday, in the Stockton Community, 4554 W. Railroad Ave., Stockton, at 11 a.m. Miller has ministered in many churches and Christian conferences in the United States and overseas. There is no charge to attend, but a love offering will be taken. The concert is open to the public.
