Jeffrey A. Wickmark, 65, of Falconer, formerly of Gerry, passed away Sunday (Feb. 16, 2014), in his home, after a courageous battle with cancer.
A lifelong area resident, he was born April 28, 1948 in Jamestown, the son of Wallace H. and Delmarie Carlson Wickmark. Jeff spent a majority of his childhood and adult life in Gerry.
Jeff was a 1966 graduate of Cassadaga Valley High School and attended Findley College. He had been employed by the Chautauqua Belle serving as captain. Jeff was also a self-employed electrician and restored hardwood floors in the area. He and his wife also own and operate a tree farm on 28 Mile Creek Road.

Jeff was a social member of the Vietnam Veterans Association and was a 25-year member of the Gerry Volunteer Fire Department.
He enjoyed collecting marbles, hunting and working on his tree farm, especially during the Christmas holiday.
Surviving are his wife Richelle A. Kalfas Wick-mark, whom he married October 8, 1983, in Sinclairville; two sons: Timothy (Janice) Wickmark of Westfield, and Thomas Wickmark (Laura Dallas) of Falconer; a daughter, Kayla (Christopher) Hallett of Kennedy; seven grandchildren: Braiden, Gavin, Nolan, Alexandra Wickmark and Ryan, Landon and Peyton Hallett; his mother, Delmarie Wickmark of Cassadaga; his brother, Steven (Nancy) Wickmark of Cassadaga; and his sister, Cheryl (John) Collins of Jamestown.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace H. Wickmark, who died Dec. 31, 2004.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Rev. Timothy D. Phelps, chaplain of Hospice of Chautauqua County, will officiate.
Friends will be received by the family from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
