As cars slipped on the slippery roads Christmas Eve, one vehicle slid right into a utility pole.
At 2:20 p.m. a car crashed into a utility pole on Dutch Hollow Road near Pancake Hill Road in Jamestown. The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to WCA Hospital via Alstar Ambulance.
Fluvanna Assistant Fire Chief Rob Stafford said he believed the cause of the accident was the slippery road conditions, and said he didn't know if the driver would be facing any charges.
