MONACA, Pa. - Ohndo Smith returned to the Jamestown Community College lineup in a losing cause Tuesday night.
Smith, who missed the last game, scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as the Jayhawks were beaten by the high-powered CC of Beaver County, 102-83, in NJCAA Division 2 men's basketball.
It was the fourth time in five games that the undefeated Titans have reached the 100-point mark this season. They were ranked fourth in the preseason Division II poll and are coming off a 27-1 season.
Tyreek Jewell had his lowest output with 14 points and Jabar Williams added 10 points for the Jayhawks, now 2-3 with a two-game winning streak snapped.
JCC trailed at halftime, 54-33, and outscored the hosts, 50-48, after intermission.
Jerome Jackson and Skyler Liddell added eight points, Dan Ferguson six, Alek Peck and Kasean Jackson five, Jobse Reyes two and Lex Pena one to account for JCC's scoring.
JCC travels to the Columbus State CC Tournament in Ohio for games on Friday and Saturday.
