If family night means pizza and a movie, there is now a location providing both.
Marco's Pizza has joined with Family Video to provide both food and entertainment in one location at 607 N. Main St., Jamestown. On Sept. 8, Marco's Pizza opened its doors to provide pizza, subs, salads, chicken wings and more. John Kobylanski, Marco's Pizza regional manager, said Marco's Pizza is affiliated with Family Video, and the Jamestown location is the 30th combination of both businesses. He said the two businesses are planning to open 251 stores together. Marco's Pizza is based in Toledo, Ohio, and has been in business for 35 years.
"It is the only one in the area," Kobylanski said about the combination of Marco's Pizza and Family Video. "We are planning three more in the region; one (each) in Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Rome."

Kobylanski said the construction project to add the pizzeria to the video store didn't take long because it was easy to work with city officials. He said the whole process from the start of construction to opening the restaurant only took about 45 days.
"Who doesn't love pizza and a movie?" Kobylanski said. "It is an American classic."
Kobylanski said fresh dough, ingredients and cut vegetables are used for each order. Also, he said the open floor space allows customers to look into the kitchen so they can see their food being prepared.

"It is fun and exciting for the whole family to see us make their pizza," he said.
There is an ordering window inside Family Video so people can place their order with Marco's and then browse through movies, television shows and video games for their entertainment selection while their food is being prepared. Kobylanski said coupons are being mailed to area residents offering even more deals for the new restaurant. He said in the future, people won't even have to leave their home if they want a movie and pizza because the businesses will deliver both to city residents.
Kobylanski said the business is continuing to look for employees. He said so far about 23 people have been hired, but they're looking to hire around 35 employees.
Marco's Pizza is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. For more information or to place an order, call 488-0022 or visit www.marcos.com.
