Ralph M. Pisano, 57, of 150 Prospect St., Jamestown, passed away Thurs-day (February 14, 2013), in WCA Hospital, surrounded by his family.
He was born Nov. 7, 1955, in Olean, N.Y., the son of the late Martin and Mary Rosetti Pisano.
Ralph attended Alfred State College and St. Bonaventure University. He was a well-known local artist. Ralph was a member of the Arts Council, and re-ceived an Artist Fellowship from the United Arts Appeal.

Surviving are his wife, Helen Childs; three daughters: Victoria (Bryan Cummings) Vanbuskirk and Nicole (Martha) Childs, both of Jamestown, and Heather Pisano of Buffalo, N,Y,; four grandchildren: Samantha, Brandon, Anthony and Sienna; a brother, Martin (Jeane) Pisano of Wellsville, N.Y.; five nieces and nephews: Dan McHenry of New York City, Marcy Owens of Maryland, David (Terri) McHenry of Washington, Michele Staple of Elmira, and Mark (Norai) Pisano of Rochester; four great-nieces and nephews: Mike, Nick and Jessica Overacker and Mia Pisano; and a great-great-niece, Mikenah Overacker.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Goss; and a nephew, Martin Michael Pisano.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Deacon Michael Lennon of St. James Catholic Church will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
