Healthy Bones Chautauqua County will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, in the community room of Covenant Manor, 23 W. Third St., Jamestown.
Healthy Bones Chautauqua County is a local exercise program designed using the routines developed by Strongwomen training. Dr. Miriam Nelson, a professor at Tufts University in Boston, developed the training after her research concerning osteoporosis. The strength training curriculum is designed specifically for midlife and older women and has been proven to help to increase strength, bone density, balance and energy.
