CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
PORTVILLE - Ezra L. Johnson, 21, of Olean, was charged at 4;16 p.m. on Dec. 25 with harassment second, reckless endangerment second and endangering the welfare of a child following a domestic dispute that occurred in the town of Portville. Johnson was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in court at a later date.
ALLEGANY - Patrick M. Carpenter, 28, of 30 Keaton Ave., Bradford, was arrested at 8 a.m. on Tuesday on a McKean County, Pa. warrant after he was found walking on Interstate 86 in Allegany. He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Carpenter was transported to the town of Salamanca Court for an arraignment and was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail until he is transferred over to the McKean County Sheriff's Office.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
KIANTONE - Thomas R. Ciancio, 57, of Bemus Point, was charged at 9:02 p.m. on Thursday with driving while intoxicated and moving from lane unsafely. Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a vehicle off the road in the ditch on Route 62 in the town of Kiantone. Following an investigation, deputies reported that Thomas R. Ciancia was operating a northbound 2004 Chevy Impala. It is alleged that Ciancio was operating in an intoxicated condition and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and refused a chemical breath test. He was released with appearance tickets and will appear in Kiantone town court at a later date.
SINCLAIRVILLE - Scott T. Fisher, 22, of 28 Park St., Sinclairville, was charged at 9:25 p.m. on Thursday with criminal possession of stolen property fifth. Deputies responded to a Sinclairville residence to check for a wanted subject. Scott T. Fisher was arrested on a town of Harmony warrant for criminal possession of stolen property fifth, was arraigned in the town of Sherman and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
CHERRY CREEK - Joseph C. Gierszewski, 19, of South Dayton was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor, failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely Saturday. County sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 83 at 12:23 a.m. after they observed the vehicle travel off the road and back on. Gierszewski was identified as the operator and following an investigation was charged. He was released with appearance tickets for Cherry Creek Town Court at a later date.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
William D. White of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt Thursday at 7:23 p.m. Officers responded to a call to check the well being of a subject inside the garage at 25 Regent St. Officers located White, who has a valid Jamestown City Court order of protection on him to stay away from the residence. White was charged and taken to Jamestown City Jail without incident. He was being held pending arraignment.
21-year-old Malcolm B. Bull was charged with tampering with physical evidence and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance Friday. Jamestown police officers and county sheriff's deputies executed a traffic stop at 8:16 p.m. in the intersection of Fluvanna Avenue and Washington Street. Upon further investigation, officers found 14 grams of methamphetamine in Bull's vehicle. He was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
Marcus Beckwith-Kaiser, 22, of Fredonia was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, suspended registration, unlicensed motor vehicle and expired inspection Tuesday. Westfield officers observed a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker on East Main Street in the village at 4:36 p.m. Upon further investigation, Beckwith-Kaiser was identified as the operator as issued traffic citations. He will appear in Westfield Village Court at a later date.
Wendy Blakeslee, 32, of Westfield was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation Tuesday. Officers stopped Blakeslee on East Main Street in the village with specific knowledge that her driving privileges were suspended in New York state. She will appear in Westfield Village Court at a later date.
